Neighborhood Solar Program Launches Third Round!

SunBug Solar is excited to announce the launch of a new round of the popular Neighborhood Solar group discount program. This is the third iteration of the successful Neighborhood Solar program which started in 2012 by Watertown resident Jocelyn Tager. Neighborhood Solar III is officially open as of June 15, 2016. Subscription in the program closes on December 31, 2016.

Neighborhood Solar is a volunteer-run, group discount program that is now available to residents and businesses in Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Somerville, and Watertown. For a limited time only, members of these communities can receive a significant discount on a solar system. Pricing in the program reflects a discount of over 20% off the current average cost for residential solar electric systems state-wide.

For more information about Neighborhood Solar III, including offering details on equipment and pricing, visit the Neighborhood Solar Program website.

There will be an informational kick-off meeting on Thursday, June 23rd at 6:30PM at the Citywide Senior Center, 806 Mass Ave., Cambridge, MA 02139. Program founder Jocelyn Tager of Watertown and Green Cambridge’s Quinton Zondervan will join Mike Ozog of SunBug Solar to educate participants about solar generally and describe the program in detail. The presentation will be followed by a lively question and answer session.
