SunWatch Meter
Solar systems have an incredible track record of performance and longevity. However with new production-based incentives like SRECs, it is important to measure solar production. Our SunWatch Meter allows you to track your solar system performance in real time and over time. To see our monitor in action, visit our SunWatch Meter website and check out a sample view of a live system.

SunBug’s solar power monitor is called the SunWatch Meter It has two components:
Meter
At your home, a compact meter mounted with your solar system measures your system’s production. With a solar electric system, it captures how much power your array is producing as well as the power going to or coming from the electric utility. This monitor is connected to your home’s internet connection through an Ethernet cable plugged into your router. It supplies a stream of data to our online database.
Website
On our website, you can track your system in real time as well as view weekly, monthly and annual production. You can compare month to month, or download the data into a spreadsheet for your own analysis. The data lives on our web site, protected by a username and password.
Our SunWatch Meter behaves like a security system. Should your array stop producing power the SunWatch Meter will automatically notify both you and us that there is a problem. We can see exactly when the problem occurred, and help resolve it.
But more importantly, our solar power monitor is a dividend statement. It shows you the return on investment from your solar system on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.
