The Bay State’s Solar Boom

Intelligent incentive programs and progressive energy policies are driving a solar boom in Massachusetts. In 2008, its first year of operation, the state’s Commonwealth Solar Program approved $22 million in solar rebates for 7.2 megawatts of capacity, more than doubling the amount of solar in the state. The majority of new installations – 425 of them – were on homes.
