Solarize WCGW Reaches Highest Discount Tier, Program Extended Through May 15

SunBug Solar and the volunteer Solar Coaches and Municipal Representatives of Windsor, Cummington, Goshen and Worthington have announced that the entire community will receive the largest discount possible now that over 400 kW of new solar electric systems have been contracted in the Solarize WCGW Campaign.  Additionally, in order to accommodate the intense hilltown interest, the program sign-up deadline has been extended by two weeks to May 15.

“As of today, we have 471 kW of new solar to be installed, representing 59 new systems,” said Aaron Simms, general manager of SunBug’s western Massachusetts operations. “This is beyond our highest expectations. We thank the Mass CEC for agreeing to extend the program until May 15th so that we can keep up with all the interest.”

Homeowners interested in signing up can contact their local solar coaches or call SunBug at 413-884-1000 to learn more. For more information on the Solarize WCGW program, please visit
