Ben has always been drawn to sustainable, cyclical systems. After a New England Emmy-Award winning career in media that included making documentaries on GBH public television and stories about organic farming for Stonyfield Farms, Ben left filmmaking in 2009 to join Cheney Brand as a founder of Sunbug, excited to turn his interest in sustainable systems into actionable outputs.
As VP of Marketing and Residential Sales, Ben shapes the way Sunbug communicates with our customers and communities. He leads a team of 10 system designers who are responsible for the day-to-day work of educating potential customers on the benefits and limitations of solar in order to design high quality systems for their homes, businesses, and community organizations.
These days, Ben is most passionate about the environmental justice movement and the impact it is poised to have on the next decade of solar adoption in the Commonwealth.
