Array of the Month Award: Mary Hickie's array in Boston
Each month we shine a spotlight on an exceptional solar array that exemplifies the power and potential of solar energy. This award goes to Mary Hickie’s system in Boston.
This array was designed by Michael Morrissey and installed by Ken Pham, Clay Lawton, Dino Goncalves, Alec Stanton, and Edgar Jimenez. This photo was taken by Alec Stanton.
The 8.1 kW system is projected to make 9,800 kWh of power per year, covering 253% of this home’s historic annual consumption. We love this image because of the clean layout of the array and the kayak on top of the car out front is the ultimate “summer in New England” vibe.
